Man reportedly pushes girlfriend to ground; smashes windshield with chunk of wood

41-year-old Gerald Dodson was charged with domestic assault and vandalism after he reportedly shoved his girlfriend to the ground and smashed her car with a piece of wood.

On October 29th, Cumberland City Police Officer Rick Smith reported to 161 Lois Lane, and filed a report for in incident that recently occured. Reportedly, Gerald Dodson arrived at his home, went inside, and began swearing at his girlfriend, Annie Tomlin. During the incident, he exited his home and smashed her vehicle with a piece of wood.

Tomlin advised the children inside the home to go to the bedroom and attempted to flee the scene so she could call the police. Dodson reportedly shoved her on the ground, leaving a noticeable bruise on her arm, then smashed her windshield with another piece of wood.

Gerald Dodson was arrested and charged with domestic assault and vandalism. He was later released on a $2,250 bond.
