The deputy noted Mark’s girlfriend had a small laceration on her right temple. When he asked Mark Berlin to put his hands behind his back, he tried to pull away from the deputy. The girlfriend later reported that Mark had pushed her, causing her to fall down, hit her head, and bleed.

Mark Berlin was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, domestic assault, and filing a false report. He was released on a $9,500 bond.
