24-year-old Mittsy Coulter was charged with public intoxication after an Exxon employee reported she was standing around inside the store, appeared to be intoxicated, and was talking to herself.

On November 13th, Stewart County Deputy Trenton Hearndon responded to a report of a suspicious person at the Exxon on Donelson Parkway. An employee called and stated that a woman was standing around talking to herself, and may be under the influence.

When the deputy arrived, he made contact with Mittsy Coulter. Deputy Hearndon noted Mittsy appeared to be under the influence of drugs. The affidavit shows she was unsteady on her feet, slurred her speech, and could not maintain a conversation with deputies on the scene. They also stated she refused to perform a field sobriety test and would not provide information to deputies regarding someone to call or a safe place for her to go. Deputies then deemed she could be harmful to herself or others.

Mittsy Coulter was arrested and charged with public intoxication. She was later released with time served.
