Man found with 573.5 grams of marijuana

23-year-old Gage Sybert-Manning was charged with speeding and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute after he was pulled over and found with 573.5 grams of marijuana in his vehicle.

On November 1st, Dover Police Officer Ricky Smith noticed a vehicle speeding eastbound on Donelson Parkway, near Sandy Road. Radar verified he was going 74 mph in a 45-mph area. The vehicle was stopped by the officer at Freebird Bonding.

Officer Smith made contact with the driver, Gage Sybert-Manning, and noticed the odor of marijuana coming from his car. He began a search of the vehicle and located two baggies, a jar of marijuana, and a backpack. Inside the backpack were multiple bags of marijuana and $632. The marijuana was confiscated and found to weigh a total of 573.5 grams.

Gage Sybert-Manning was arrested and charged with speeding and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was released on a $20,500 bond.
